How credits work
One balance. Your choice of perspective.
Purchased Diary!? credits can support Gurnle or a human guide. A standard AI insight or conversation reply uses 0.08 credit after any included AI allowance or bonus is spent. A paid human guide response uses 1 credit for writing or 2 credits for audio.
Audio and video analysis have their own rates, shown in the app before you use them. Guides may also choose to offer complimentary responses.

The 2-credit pack’s bonus is for AI only. Other purchased credits are shared across eligible AI and human guidance. Packs are purchased inside Diary!?.
Good to know
A few details before you begin.
Do I need a subscription to keep a journal?
No. You can use Diary!? as a private journal without subscribing to Gurnle or buying credits. Guidance is optional.
When does the Gurnle free month begin?
Your one-time free month starts when you choose to turn on AI Guidance. Simply creating an account does not start it. Turning AI Guidance off later does not pause or restart the month.
Can my monthly AI allowance pay a human guide?
No. The monthly Gurnle allowance is for AI interactions. Purchased Diary!? credits can be used for eligible AI actions or paid human guide responses.
Are these the exact prices I will pay?
The amounts shown are USD reference prices. Apple and Google Play show localized prices in the app, and the price presented at checkout is the price that applies to your purchase.
